Wellsville days

We headed back to Wellsville today for the big parade!  It's always fun to go see old friends.
The kids were excited to get their face painted and tattoos. For a quarter each, I splurged and let them get one of each. Thanks Wellsville for letting us "outsiders" enjoy the day with the community.

Lincoln's behavior chart

This kid cracks me up.
At school, Lincoln's class has a behavior chart. You can move up on it if your good, and down on it if your bad.  Lincoln's favorite thing to do when he's home, is make behavior charts. He loves to move us up and down depending on how he's liking us at the moment. Eric and I typically move to the top, but Maddox and Maci tend to stay along the bottom.

Cheer class

Maci seems to think she would like to be a cheerleader.  Since I have no idea about that area of athletics I've hired the big wigs!  Okay, I've just enrolled her in a cheer and tumbling program.
She is loving it, but this teacher is INTENSE!  She scares me weekly, but Maci keeps going back!
-sorry for the blurry pictures, thru glass, zoomed way in, and a moving subject

Football Friday

Maci participated in the cheer clinic put on as a fundraiser by our high school cheering squad.  You'll see her below with the white shirt and hair bow below :)  (Where's waldo)
The boys had a great time too playing with their friends.
Lincoln and Lincoln- what a pair!
Maddox, Kale and Austin

Apple Pie Makin

My class at school made some applesauce for Grandparents Day and I had a few apples left.
The boys (Eric) wanted an apple pie, so I put them to work peeling the apples.
It sure is nice when they do the dirty work!

I will say that this was the best apple pie I've ever made! Thanks boys for giving me a hand!

Lincoln's 5th Birthday

I CAN NOT believe my youngest is 5!  It just can't be!!  But boy am I loving this age.
We had everyone over to help us celebrate and he had a great time. Spoiled rotten as usual!
The one thing he asked for over and over again was an "office table" or as most of us would know it as a desk.  He was thrilled to open it. He has used it for hours ever day.  Definetly worth the investment!

Then he had his gifts from the rest of the family.

Happy Birthday Lincoln!  Love you BUNCHES!!

Soccer

Lincoln decided he wanted to play soccer again. It seems to be his favorite sport right now.  4 months ago when he played he wouldn't touch the ball. But he's figured it out this season. His first game he scored 2 goals.  He's a lot of fun to watch.

I love how he's holding Karis' hand in this picture.

Flag Football

Another season of sports has started. Flag football is here and Maddox is loving it.

He's loving that he gets to play with his cousin this year. We have a great team and it should be a fun year!

1st Day of School

My blogging has stalled a bit. I hope to keep it up, but life is getting busy.
I took a job this summer and headed back to teaching.  I'm teaching 3rd grade and loving it.  But with teaching, kids activities, and just a busy life, my computer time is cut short.

Here's my two big kid!
Maci going into 5th grade (how in the world???? where has the time gone)
and Maddox going into 2nd grade.

Kung Fu

I never in my life would of imagined that  my daughter would be asking to take a Kung Fu class. But I was so proud of her that she wanted to try something new.  She tried it and she did amazing.

City Night

Eudora started a Fun Friday once a month this summer and the kids loved it.  The whole community is invited out to play. They have a ton of blow ups, different games set up, lots of booths, and it concludes with a movie under the stars. We had a great time.  Sorry for the blurry pics- the kids were moving fast.
-pictures below of blow up and an intense laser tag game

Balloon Fest

We enjoyed a beautiful night out on the lawn watching the hot air balloons in Olathe. Luckily my parents were up for the adventure and kept us company.

Tumbling

Maci attended a tumbling camp this summer.  We were very fortunate to only have 2 other girls in the class, so she got a lot of personalized attention. She loved it!
