Morning Ritual
Mondays are such hard days for Maddox. He hates when his daddy has to go back to work. He has started this morning ritual when Maci started back to school. Every day he has to go outside to watch his daddy drive off to work. Even as the mornings are getting chillier, he continues to sit outside and watch him go. Even in the rain this morning he sat out front to say good bye!

Happy Birthday Uncle Travis
These 4 kids are impossible to get to pose together but I was going to get some type of picture of them with Uncle Wampus (as the kids call him)
Trav pulling kids duty. If you ever wonder where he is, he's always playing with the kids.Posted by The Votaw Family at 10:33 AM 0 comments

Charlize's Birthday
Charlize and Maci
Maci jumping into the pit
Charlize had her party at the Lawrence Gymnastics Academy and all the kids had a blast.Posted by The Votaw Family at 10:21 AM 0 comments
Light the Night Walk
Our shirts with the names of the people we were walking for and in memory of
Maci getting her face painted
Maddox had his hair sprayed red and blue
Meeting Baby Jay- in this pic you can see Maci had her hair painted also (that was fun to get out before bed!)
Our team - enjoying the evening
One of my best friends- Wendy Berg- had a team in honor of her in-laws. Here's their team passing out the balloons and getting ready to go. She was the top fund raiser in Lawrence! Great job Wendy!
The kids dancing with Baby Jay
The kids had to have their pics with the cheerleaders
The survivors that attended the walk- it broke my hear to see the young kids in the blue shirts. Not that it's any better the older you are, but I can't imagine going through it with a 4 or 5 year old.Posted by The Votaw Family at 10:03 AM 1 comments
The Walk Begins
Our team- we are missing Eric's brother and his wife and 3 kids- but the rest of the team is here. What a great group we had!
Lined up- ready to begin
My mom (in blue) being protected by my dad and brother
Linc getting carried by uncle Trav
We made it- the walk thru town is over and we had so much fun. Can you believe all of the little kids made the walk no problem- they enjoyed it as much as the rest of usPosted by The Votaw Family at 9:50 AM 2 comments
Wellsville Days
Linc enjoying the activities- we actually gave him his first sucker- can't believe he hasn't had one before now, but he loved it, and we loved that it kept him content during the festivities
Enjoying the petting zoo- they actually had a camel, zebra, monkey, antelope, and more- not the typical goats and rabbits you get at most petting zoos
we had to do the $.25 face painting- this is supposed to be spider man
Time for the parade- Linc wanting another sucker!Posted by The Votaw Family at 9:29 AM 0 comments

Maddox "recovering" and all cozy- the bowl is handy this time!
Maci home home from school with her bowl too. Luckily grandma lives next door and was able to go get her for me. Thank you grandma!!!!Posted by The Votaw Family at 10:53 AM 1 comments

Babcock Family Reunion
We found this fun steel bridge. Gotta love the loud noise it makes as you jump across it.
The tank and helicopter they had kept the kids busy exploring. Maddox was ready to get inside.
I wanted one good picture of the 3 kids- but it wasn't going to happen today.
Telling grandpa and grandma good bye.Posted by The Votaw Family at 9:41 AM 0 comments

KU Band Day
We were lucky and found Camden and Trenton who had front row seats and set up we could get used to. We are finding them for every parade from now on. Much better then sitting behind the crowd.
Maddox loving the parade- but trying to get his juju candy out of his back teeth
Maci helping Linc clap to the music
Gotta get the Anderson County photo. My brother is the athletic director/ assistant principal and coaches at ACHS so we had to get a picture of them in the parade. I was hoping to see Josh walking with them, but he must not of made the trip.Posted by The Votaw Family at 9:20 AM 0 comments
Helping the Earth
Digging the hole and getting it ready
Our babysitter for Linc- gotta love the "cage" on the trampoline
The final product- one HUGE tree! I feel so good contributing to my childs world! I hope Eric doesn't mow over it next time he mows!
