Oceanside Beach

After we got home I begged and bribed these 3 to let us go to the beach.
They wanted to swim in the pool, I wanted to enjoy the waves!
Luckily I'm older so I won out, but they got to eat at IHOP since we got to go!
is it weird that's my kiddo's favorite place to eat???

I was snapping away and a nice lady asked if she could take
a family pic for us. Her husband was from Lawrence so
they felt a little bit of home being with us Jayhawkers!

Love the beach!!

this wave kind of surprised the crew

so the chase was on... and the making of a new game

thank goodness for rental cars :)

Legoland

We just got home from an AMAZING vacation!
The kiddos have been talking about Legoland for a couple of years now so we decided
to make the trip and enjoy it with them.
We did a lot more then legoland as you will see,
but the 8 days that we were in Southern Cali, we filled to the brim!

The day started and we got our family picture.  I won't be seen much
in the rest of the pictures!!

Our first sign of whats to come. Everything made out of legos.

Our cousin went a few years ago and getting a drivers license seems
to be the BIG deal. So that was our first stop. The kids had to
drive thru this little city and follow traffic rules. If they
did they were given a drivers license.
That was worth the enterance fee in their minds.

Even Lincoln got a license. (yes, he's driving on the wrong
side of the road.)

Maci is our rider, she loves them.  Maddox, not so much.. but Lincoln
is the future rider with Maci. The boy has NO fear!

This was made out of legos, it was amazing everything they had!

Love this picture- Maci and Lincoln can't get enough, Maddox never opened his eyes and
Eric is a little intense himself :)

Maddox did love this ride. it was like a jet ski that people on the outside
could shoot you with water bombs. They loved it!

This was our first ride and I even rode it- you peddle around a
high track. Did I like it????

only because Maci held my hand and laughed at me the whole way thru!

And how Eric was feeling after the day of rides..,

Mothers Day

First off, I have to say I am the luckiest gal alive... I have the BEST mother and mother in law in the world. I was definitely blessed when God created my story. Thanks mom and Dea for always being the great examples you are!

But now on to my kiddos. The loves of my life!
We had a crazy busy week last week. Between 3 kids each being in 3 activities, and then school and a crazy work week, things were a bit nutty around here.
But my perfect kiddos didn't forget. They had it all planned out.
I was woke up at 7:30 (that is sleeping in around here) with the following in bed!

Lincoln brought me the kindle- he knows my favorite thing currently is a bubble popping game on here- Maci brought me my 2 favorite candy bars, and Maddox knows I'm cranky until I get my morning coke! Eric got up early with all 3 kiddos and headed into town to bring me my fountain drink. What a crew!!!!
Along with that, all 3 dressed themselves for church, never complaining. Got their teeth brushed and hair combed on their own!

after a great morning at church we came home and enjoyed a quick lunch so the kids could go give Zoe a bath. Not my favorite thing to do, but definitely needed to be done.

Then Maddox moved on to washing the car for us.

I am so blessed to have my 3 amazing kiddos. I couldn't of dreamed of a more perfect family. Thanks to their daddy to for helping in making my day so perfect!

Lincoln's first soccer season

The time finally came- Lincoln has been waiting to play sports
for several years. This was his first season of
enjoying a team sport. Soccer it was!

He played with 4, 5, and 6 year olds.

He stayed in the game and enjoyed it all

but his favorite was the tunnel after the game.

I love watching this boy enjoy life!

Night time burrito

Eric has to go out of town in a couple weeks for work

I decided I needed to learn the night time tuck in secret

or I'll have a couple boys that won't be able to sleep

Strawberry Patch

We are lucky enough to live about 4 miles from a WONDERFUL strawberry patch.  Luckily my
good friend brought it to my attention last year.  We decided Thursday
to go get some yummy goodness.

It didn't take long for these two to remember how to pinch off the strawberries, and to look for the
yummy red ones!

they did sample a few on the way
oh how I love these 3! What a group of good lookin, amazing boys!

and Linc proud of his stash.  There really are a few in there!

We've made a few trips back.
Nothing like fresh strawberries!

Zipline Fun

Uncle Darrin spoiled the kids once again for Christmas this year.  When they opened the zipline I never expected it to turn into SUCH a zipline.  I honestly thought it would be a little fun trip from the top of the slide on the swingset to the ground... it definetly grew into a much bigger project.
The kids are thrilled, their friends are excited, and us adults are having just as much fun!
