We bought several trees, shrubs, flowers, and such this last week in order to landscape our yard. After 4 years we decided it was time to add to our exterior! Sunday was so beautiful that we enjoyed the day and worked hard. We planted 5 tree's, 4 shrubs, several trays of flowers... and horray! We look like a home now!

Thank goodness we live in the country! This seems to be Maddox's favorite place to go to the bathroom!

Maci's Birthday Party
We had Maci's family birthday party on Saturday and she had a great time. It was a beautiful day so the kids were able to enjoy the backyard. It is so much fun to watch the kids play together.

Maci finds the phone
This weekend Maci had her first phone call from a friend. Oh my... we have just begun! She talked for 30 minutes and it was nothing but them hanging up on each other so they could call each other back, or screaming and acting silly. I'm afraid we are going to have a phone talker on our hands!

Ear Piercing Time
Maci decided for Christmas that she wanted her ears pierced. Daddy wasn't to sure he was ready for her to get them pierced so he told her if she still wanted them for her birthday he would give in. Every day that is all we heard was "On April 17th I get to get my ears pierced." So last night was the night. We met Mimi, Papa, Uncle Wampas (Travis), and Maverick and made it a HUGE family event. She was so excited, yet pretty nervous. As we walked around looking for a place that would do both ears at the same time (none available) she kept saying her tummy hurt. I told her I think mommy's hurts worse. I just knew one ear would get done and she would be done. The pain wouldn't allow for the ear #2. But she surprised me and she was a tough little girl!
Waiting patiently for the paper work to get filled out. She's pretty serious at this point!
Getting the ears marked
Ear #1 done- not even a flinch- and to mommy and daddy's surprise- no tears! And she's willing to get #2 done. We were so proud!
Maddox and Maverick- so interested in what's going on!
She did it!! #2 is done.
I asked for a smile as soon as they were done, and although there were no tears- this was the best I could get for a smile. Although the smiles came pretty quick and she was so proud to show off those ears.
The Queen of the Parade! You have to go play when you've been so good!

Lincoln and Trenton
Best buds- Lincoln loves to keep an eye on Trenton so I love to keep them close, but not to close. This seemed to be perfect- He could watch him, but not touch him! Don't comment on the rest of my house- but remember I have 4 boys - 3 and under that keep me on my toes!

Linc is in love
I can't believe I almost forgot this picture...Eric and Lincoln were so excited to run into Carrie Underwood while we were in Nashville. We didn't think we would see her, but wouldn't you know it- on the way to the airport, there she was!

Hair cut time
Lincoln and Mommy got their hair cut this weekend. We finally had the nerve to cut Lincoln's Donald Trump comb over meets Maddox Jolie-Pitts Mohawk! Now my little boy looks like a little boy!
I went to get my hair done and got talked into the bob! I was really nervous since my hair has never been this short- but I'm glad I did it.

7 months old
Can you believe the baby I just had a couple weeks ago is already 7 months old? That means it's almost his birthday! He is still such an amazing baby. So happy! We just can't get enough of him!

ROCK CHALK!!!!
We finally did it! The Jayhawks won the National Championship and what a fun night (and season) it was. Eric called it 2 months ago! When he found out he was going out of town for work he knew that they were going to win. Sure enough- as we set in our hotel room in Nashville, The Jayhawks win the big one! We still celebrated, we just didn't get to enjoy all the fun at home! After Eric got out of his meeting on Monday we ran to a quick dinner and then to our home away from home for the big game!
Festivities on Mass Street in Lawrence after the game- over 40,000 people showed up to celebrate!
To bad we were stuck in Memphis land!

Lincoln's first flight
Lincoln got to take his first flight this last weekend. Here he is waiting for the flight, on the plane, and in his home away from home. I won't bore you with the sites we saw. Mainly because we basically shopped the whole time! What a vacation!

To Allen Fieldhouse we go!
We decided to take the kids up to the Fieldhouse to watch the KU Final Four game against Roy Williams and UNC!!! What fun we had! It was as loud as I've ever heard it! The kids loved the excitement- except for Maddox, who's hands were on his ears the entire time!!!
