Maci's 1st Fundraiser- Nottingham's Jog-a-Thon

Maci had her first fundraiser at Nottingham. They had a jog-a-thon where they ran laps to raise money for the school. She has watched her cousins do fund raisers for a few years so she felt like such a big girl! She had a blast running, and we loved watching her! Lincoln of course had a hard time keeping his eye's open, but Maddox and Camden loved it!

Wellsville Days

We had to go back to my home town for the big town party- Wellsville Days was this last Sat. so we went back for the fair and fun. The kids loved the parade and of course the animals!

First sibling fight

We always wondered at what age the kids would start wrestling around with each other. The brother/sister fighting. We found out last night. Maci and Maddox fought for a good 20 minutes before we broke it up for bath time. Atleast there were no tears yet- only a lot of giggles.

Maddox and Calvin

Maddox and his buddy- Calvin Dwyer- are quite the pair- they had a great time riding Maddox's little gator.

1st Photo Shoot

We try to get the kids their first photo shoot right away after their born, and with Lincoln we were lucky enough to have Jan Bloss take the pictures for us at our home. Eric was glad to not have the stress of an actual studio this time. I can't believe how great Jan did- and I'm only going to include a few on here. She took a ton so I can't include them all.

Linc's 1 week celebration- first outing

We know how to celebrate our new little ones- for Lincoln's one week birthday we held a party at Deanna Rose Farmstead. Okay, okay! It was actually Jake Berg's birthday party but the kids sure enjoyed the outing.

Linc's first week

We had a great first week with Lincoln. Maci and Maddox are adjusting well and Lincoln has fit in perfectly. He is a great baby! Great sleeper, cozy cuddler, and super pooper!!! Attached are a few pics from the first week. He changes every day.

Lincoln's 1 Week Appt.

Lincoln made his 1 week dr. appt. today at 5 days old. He is gaining back his weight. His head is 14" -40%, weight is 7 lbs 1 oz- 25%, and height is 19 1/4" - 25%. I'm sure we'll pass the 90% mark in no time. We're not use to little kids in this house!!!
He's been a great baby. Never cries and just sleeps and eats. Maci and Maddox can't get enough of him. It's been an easy adjustment for us.

Lincoln Miles is here!

Lincoln decided to join us on Sunday Sept. 9. I had my first contraction at 2:20 am and he made his appearance at 4:50 am. We made it to the hospital just in time to enjoy a natural, painful, unmedicated birth. They didn't care at all that I was begging and pleading- so I just had to get him out as soon as possible!
He is absolutely beautiful and he's been such a good baby so far. His sister can't get enough of him and his brother likes to just say hi and go about his business. As you will notice in the pictures. We haven't figured out who he looks like yet so if you have an idea we would love to hear it!!!

Labor Day Fun

We had a busy weekend and a fun family get-together for Labor Day. It was uncle Darrin's birthday so that always brings good food and a fun family day. Attached are pictures from Monday playing at grandma and grandpa Votaw's. The kids love playing with their cousins!

and Nesting has begun!

After big changes last week we realized that our little one will be here before we know it. The nesting syndrome hit us both over the weekend. Eric and I spent the weekend cleaning and cooking. After cleaning what I thought needed cleaned- Eric finished up what he thought could use cleaned. (Really? the top of the cabinets???) While he finished up the cleaning I decided to do the finish up shopping and cooking. I may have went a little overboard. I wanted some dinners for post-partum so I went thru my recipe books to try some new stuff. Now 26 meals later (all in the freezer) I think we'll be set until 2008! Eric thought I was nuts! Here's Eric cleaning the top of the cabinets, and my garage freezer stocked full of good food!!!
