Football camp

Wow- it's been awhile since I've been on here- but time to catch this little memory lane up!!!
It's been a hot hot summer, so when football camp came around, I thought we should skip it.
It was only 110 degrees out, so not the perfect weather to run around and chase a ball in!
However, Maddox REALLY wanted to go, and it was early, so we gave it a shot.
Luckily the coach wasn't goofy, and didn't make them run. It was pretty low key,
and they all had a great time.

Coach Pitch baseball

Our baseball season is over for the year.
Today Maddox's team won 3rd in their tournament.
We had a fun year, great team, and awesome coaches.
It was so much fun watching these boys play.

She can see!

Maci joined the world of the vision impaired.
She had been complaining of headaches for quite a while so we took her in
and sure enough, she needed some new specs.

4th of July

I LOVE the 4th of July.
I'm a patriotic girl and I love to see the red white and blue.
I love my country!
and am very thankful for those that serve!

so we took off early and headed to Merriam to see their patriotic display

We picked up Uncle Darrin to ride along with us and took a little nature walk
through some flag marked path

Then we headed to the Plaza to listen join a little convention.
Well, Eric and Darrin did.  The kids and I did a little shopping and
tried to help out the economy by spending a little money :)

We did spend a little time shooting off fireworks too of course

Lincolns favorite firework

and this puppy did pretty good with all the loud noise

we enjoyed an afternoon at the pool with our cousins and then had a
yummy lunch at Mimi and Papas

No pictures for the end of the day, but we finished it off at a firework show at
Celebration Park in Gardner.
Oh how I love holidays spent with family!!!

Boulevard Drive in

We took the kids for their first experience to a drive in movie.
It was a hot hot night, but we still enjoyed the show.
We watched Brave, but took off after it was over.
Lots of gatorade, candy
and a great movie
It was a fun night!

T-Ball

Lincoln has been dying to play sports like his siblings.  He was still a little
young this season, but we decided to sign him up for t-ball.
He is 4, but he played on the 5 and 6 yr old team.
I figured he would be in the dirt, but he was
always ready to play. He would play third base and chase the ball to first.
Always wanting to be in the action!

He was lucky to get some amazing coaches this year.
Thank you Kelly, Corrie and Lisa!
